Danny Blackburn appointed Chief Strategy Officer at Reprise.

Reprise, the global leader in performance marketing, has today announced that it has promoted Leeds-based Danny Blackburn to Chief Strategy Officer. Having worked at IPG Mediabrands agency, Stickyeyes, for 6 years and at Reprise for a further year as Content Managing Partner, Danny brings creative flair and a real passion for developing dynamic marketing solutions that are built around real human beings.

As a former journalist and content specialist, Danny has worked alongside some of the world’s biggest brands to better utilise digital content, in order to reach, engage and convert their audiences. In his previous role, he developed ‘The Complete Content Framework’ for Reprise, which equips clients with a holistic and integrated approach to performance marketing strategy across paid, owned and earned channels. This framework also gives internal and agency teams a shared understanding of how content can be used to better drive business performance.

In his new role, Danny will be leading the strategic proposition of Reprise in the UK&I and for many of the agency’s global clients led from London. He will also be responsible for crafting consumer-centric, journey-based strategies that bring together Reprise’s craft capabilities across Experience, Media and Content.

In addition, Danny will support Reprise’s strategic global ‘Centre of Excellence’ across search, performance content, eCRM and SEO, alongside an acceleration of its commerce capabilities. Danny will join the company’s executive leadership team, partnering on agency direction, growth strategies and making Reprise a brilliant place to work for new and existing employees.

Speaking on his promotion, Danny Blackburn said, “I’m thrilled to be appointed as Chief Strategy Officer at Reprise during such an exciting time for the business. I pride myself on being a strategic thinker, creative collaborator and go-getter, and I am looking forward to spearheading new plans of action to continue driving successful campaigns for our growing client portfolio. It is also a great opportunity for me to work even more closely with our team of dedicated experts who are constantly striving to learn and evolve.”

Reprise’s UK & Ireland CEO, Chloe Hawking added, “This new role has been created at a time when the agency is on a staggering growth trajectory and is servicing renowned clients such as NatWest, Amazon and the LEGO Group. We are delighted that Danny is taking on this leadership position at Reprise. His deep customer insight, background in content strategy, curious mind and collaborative style make him the ideal candidate to represent and advance our performance strategy capabilities.”

Reprise is the second-largest performance marketing agency in the UK following its acquisition of Stickyeyes in 2016 and integration in 2021. Having integrated both teams to deliver the best results for its clients, the agency now has over 530 specialists in the UK, offering a complete suite of crafts designed to deliver customer-centric performance marketing via services including, Performance Strategy, SEO, Paid Search, Social, Affiliates, eCRM, Commerce and Performance Content. Most recently, Reprise was named Agency of the Year at The Drum Awards For Search 2022.
